Three Podcast Reviews...

Well. Honestly...I've never really listened to podcasts before but from this assignment, I realized that they could be quite useful. Usually when Im doing homework or cleaning my room, I get easily distracted with Facebook or Twitter but not anymore.

Listening to a podcast you get all the information and entertainment while you still have the ability to multitask....it's genius. So here are the podcasts that I subscribed to...and don't judge me on the ones I selected.

The first winner was "Drinking made easy" for obvious reasons. I wanted to see if it would be a joke, or a serious podcast and it turned out to be both. The host, Zane Hamprey, talked about of course drinking games and mixers, but he also interviewed a owner of a restaurant about what kinds of wine goes be with certain foods.

I definitely liked this one, but he did tend to ramble a lot and I found myself fast forwarding a lot and because of that, I wouldn't put it on my iPod.

Winner number two was "How to do everything" which got my attention by it's clever picture of a finger saying step one and the finger pushing a button as step two. This podcast was very funny.

Under the comedy section, the "podcasters" took requests from their listeners and gave them advice to do  many things like how to sharpen a disposable razor, how to eat messy food, and even how to get a non-creepy massage.

The part about this podcast that I liked was how they did their titles. They would choose three random words from the podcast...and example would be Massage, Piranhas and Puppies, and then the subtitle would be How to Get a Non-Creepy Massage.

I would totally listen to this again and totally put it on my iPod...totally.

The last and final winner was kinda weird, but I like weird, so just go with it. This one was entitled "Mike and Tom Eat Snacks".

Yup...like I said it was weird. The two comedians did what they said....talked about the snacks they were eating. Episode titles were Pirates Booty, Candy Canes, Guacamole or even Munchkins.

I don't think I would subscribe to this or put it on my iPod. It was a little too out there for me.

All in all, podcasts were pretty cool and I think I found a new way to get my homework done while learning how to get a non-creepy massage.
